As soon as you reach chapter 4 and onward the story missions should be ignored indefinitely until you collect all Coin Locker keys and finish all the sub stories that were unlocked in that chapter.
Certain story events change the time of day An example is right at the start of chapter 6 you go to rescue a person and the time changes from midday to a rainy evening which will lock you out of certain sub stories until the time changes back.
In chapter 6 make sure you get the handbag quest right at the start and then go start The Scout, the time it takes to get his call either requires a bunch of sub stories to be finished or general time passing, it's not clear which.
The sooner the better as there's a bunch of quests in chapter 6 to do and the time it'll take you to do them is more than enough for it.
If you still don't get the call after about four to six sub stories or two hours of play when you visit the area then go and do the story quests until you finish saving Kage's son.

Cabaret - If you are on any chapter that has Haruka or another character following you and they are currently following you you will be locked out of these even if you go meet the character.
The enemies that need to spawn won't, the transitions that need to happen don't, and while some of the parts of the quest may be completed, you cannot actually complete them fully.
Do not leave these until chapter 13, make sure you do them either in chapter 6 or chapter 11.

This is the only time the NPC will ever be here.

As long as you don't enter the room on the fourth floor you can go search for these.
Make sure you do not go to the right of the stairs when you get onto the boat or you miss these.
His fighting style is extremely simple, every full combo you do he'll either try to heabutt you or attack you which you can easily just sway away from.
He's invincible when charging his attack the sky-blue aura around him.
He comes with about five or six flunkies, however the area around you is filled with chairs and getting Heat attacks off these guys is extremely easy.
The boss himself is an agile type who blocks sometimes, so you can go for a full kick combo or just punch him a few times and back off.
He's quite tough, he comes with a bunch of flunkies, and the arena itself has baseballs constantly being thrown at you.
Do your best to beat the flunkies first, then once the boss is the only one left try to make a break for the bats on the entrance side of the arena Where the balls are being thrown to.
The boss himself can only be hit about once or twice before he backs off and starts a combo of his own.
He will constantly be dodging you at every opportunity, but when he goes for his six-combo attack The one that ends in a punch you can retaliate against him.
His knife stabs aren't that easily punished but it's also possible on those.
There will be a bunch of lackies with wooden swords and then the boss with a proper sword.
Hopefully you got Master Komaki's sword training prior to this to increase the damage of swords, but either way you should just focus on the lackies, then grab their swords and use that to fight off the rest of them and the boss.
The boss himself is slightly agile and likes to sway after about two or three hits, but the swords themselves can stun him for multiple hits and deal a substantial amount of damage.
If you run out of swords to use then your best bet is to do a basic two or three punch combo before backing off.
Most of his attacks can be retaliated against.
You fight them in the middle of chapter 8 as you go to Debora for some information.
Just work on getting the flunkies down first and do your best to avoid the big guy.
Instead, you should focus on the agile one due to him being an absolute pain and he will constantly interrupt any attacks on the big guy.
You can get full combos on the agile one on occasion, but grabs don't work.
There's a bunch of seats in the back you can use to do a good amount of damage to both these guys.
Then just go attack the big guy, he can be both grabbed and knocked to the ground making him really simple to beat with Heat attacks.
He is extremely quick, uses weapons constantly, has attacks that have huge range, and sways like crazy.
The pots scattered about the room have swords hidden in them so make good use of those as he can't really dodge them, and there's also two health kit items in the room which you'll probably need since he really hits hard.
Don't attempt Heat attacks, grabbing him is extremely tough, since he attacks very quick trying to using the tables or pots to do a Heat attack is very difficult to actually have succeed, and knocking him down takes considerable effort or a full sword combo.
If you run out of weapons to use then you can retaliate against any of his attacks once he finishes a combo, just make sure you stay a good distance away until he sees the combos the whole way through due to the range.
If you have the Bulletproof Vest from the Coin Locker Keys then this should help out immensely in this entire area and fight due to the prevalent use of guns.
The Neo wannabe here is really annoying, and his minions do not help in the slightest.
Book it to any of the other Yakuza first, they are your top priority as they also have guns and you immediately get stunned if hit by anything in this fight which lets everyone else shoot you.
To make matters worse there's only one health pickup as well.

In comparison to the previous time you fought him he will sway much more which makes getting attacks in a much bigger pain.
You can only really retaliate against the jump attack If you attack as soon as he stabs or at the end of his six attack combo The one that ends in an explosive punch.
It's not recommend to use the pipes or rocks laying around during the fight, your swings are too slow to actually get a hit off unless you literally back him into a corner so he can't just sway out of every attack due to the invincibility frames of his sways.
Half way through the fight you will fall through the floor into a much darker arena, so make sure you pay extra attention to his attacks as his six attack combo is much harder to see, the jump stab will still have the purple glow.

The area he's in has a golf club and a metal pipe, but both of them are very slow and you probably won't even hit Amon with them.
The first phase is the gunner phase.
This is the same as theexcept he dodges next to every attack, he's extremely quick, and he will do everything to get as far away from you as possible.
If you get hit at all he will begin to run away, so sway your way towards him.
If he's really far away, he'll glow blue which means you need to rush to some sort of cover as swaying will not dodge it like with the other enemies like this.
When you get too close he'll begin his melee attack to get enough space to run away.
The second phase is the grenade phase.
Everything he will do does disgustingly high amounts of damage.
If you're close he'll choose between a stun grenade, a frag grenade, or a melee moveset mainly aimed towards kicks.
If you let him run far enough he'll throw about six grenades in a very wide area, and cover will not protect you at this point, so do your best to stay near him.
This is the best time to stay close with weapons if you're not cheesing him with the elemental katanas.
The final phase is the phase.
He doesn't sway as much as Majima does but if he's not within punching range he'll take out his knife and usually leap at you.
He's very easy to retaliate against in this phase, especially if you're close to him and go for counters.
Beating him also nets you 10 million Yen.
Whenever you buy an item from any restaraunt it will gain a red checkmark the next time you view the menu, so this makes it easy to manage what you actually purchased.
The beef bowl stores on Taihei Boulevard both count as the same menu so you just need to buy from one or the other.
It appears that you don't need to order all the drinks from the bars, buying everything from pAres The blue store at the bottom of the Champion District and Bantam The white square right next to the Millenium Tower along with the most expensive drink at Shellac The blue square on the right of the Champion Distruct should give you the trophy, but if it doesn't just continue to buy out everything from Shellac.
The bar called "Bantam" replaces the "Bacchus" bar where you first met Haruka in chapter 4, but it takes until chapter 5 or 6 before you can actually visit it.
Food can only be bought if you have lost some health, so you either have to do this early on in the game, or right at the end of the game.
Yakuza have a cap on how many times they will spawn to fight you prior to chapter 11, but after that they will spawn infinitely, so if you would like to just tank hits early on to get this over quicker that is possible.
Drinks can be bought regardless of health condition so a decent amount of the things in the Alps Tea House and the Good Cafe can be purchased outright.
It is recommended to buy the cheapest items first, and right before you heal fully you buy the most expensive food to limit the amount of trips you need to make to the store.
Alcoholic drinks from bars also have a limit on how many you can drink.
You have four "stages" of being drunk, the first is blueish-purple, the second is yellow, the third is red, and then there's flashing red Which makes the barkeep stop serving you until you sober up.
The more expensive the drink the higher your rating, and it slowly whittles away as you're playing in realtime.
It takes about 10-20 minutes to drop a single level, so it's best to buy the really cheap drinks and then go all out for the expensive ones.
You can drink about four or five cheap drinks, or one to three expensive drinks in a sitting so it is recommended you leave the really expensive drinks for last when you are drinking So, drink 3 or 4 cheap drinks and then the really expensive one as they get you hammered the most.
The drunkenness level resets on major cutscenes and chapter changes or if enough realtime has passed.
The rest of the drinks at the other bars top out at about 7k, while the most expensive food is about the 4k mark.
A "bump" is when you see someone turn to their side when you touch them.
Throughout most of the game you'll earn about 2-3 million if you've just been hoarding your money with all the sub stories.
However, if you did all the sub stories, maxed out all your stats, and learned from Master Komaki then you'll get to fight Amon in the theater square right near the end of the game, and beating him nets you 10 million Yen.
If you're not planning on fighting Amon or want this early, then your option is to play roulette in the underground casino and sell the golden plates you get with the chips you earn.
Keep in mind the latter method is extremely luck reliant and will require much save scumming for it to work.
This may or may not be gained through normal gameplay depending if you utilize the taxis or not.
Just follow the on-screen prompts until the fight is over.
Just go encounter random Yakuza and do sub stories and you can get this as early as chapter 2 if you wanted, otherwise it will come through natural gameplay.
Ideally you should aim for this in chapter 3 as you're running from the funeral.
The area you begin in as you start to run away has loads of columns and enemies are carrying them as well along with 3+ people grouping up constantly.
The way you have to go about this is by using your normal punch against enemies until their health drops to a sliver left.
This can be very tough to do, especially with everyone else hitting you, but do your best.
After that, you need to go grab a column, either from the background or the one the enemies carried in.
Run in wide circles and hope for the enemies to group together, and once the three you've dropped to a sliver of health are grouped together, press triangle and hope for the best.
The range on these attacks is extremely short and you also have to hope no one attacks as you do the triangle attack on the enemies.
If you beat too many enemies in this area then just let the remaining ones kill you and try again, there is no penalty for dying.
If you are past chapter 3 this will have to be done either when you first meet Haruka in chapter 4 You get ambushed by about eight Yakuzain random Yakuza battles They all come with some sort of giant item to pick up and usually 3+ enemies in an encounter or certain sub stories as they tend to have groups of enemies.
Either attempt this directly at the start and just save after every fight you beat without getting hit, or do this after chapter 11 since Yakuza will start respawning on the streets again.
Another method is at the end of the game after you beat Amon due to the amount of money you get.
After beating him you just go to the black market gun store in BEAM on North Pink Street, it's the pink store opposite of Bantam.
To access the black market will require you to talk to a bum a little bit past the eastern most beef bowl restaraunt near a car then agree to pay him around 30k Yen.
Whenever you are grabbed by an enemy you have to spam X to escape, just do this 15 times and you're good.
If you still don't have it by the end of the game then just turn your back towards an enemy without attacking and if you're close enough they will always grab you instead of hitting you.
It's unknown if Heat attacks that break items count toward the tally or if it counts towards when you do it on the final enemy of a battle, or if you just have to break them through regular attacks.
It's also unknown if items like grenades, baseballs, guns, or anything thrown count toward the tally either.
When looking at the English trophies for the latter games this may be tied to destroying items you pick up in battles, not ones you take in with you.
The best way to get EXP is to do sub stories as the enemies give you tons of EXP, especially early on, and once you get to chapter 8 the bosses from the story give you 10+.
Using a Heat attack on bosses gives you a good chunk of EXP as well.
Ideally you should aim to use Heat attacks on any enemy if possible as it gives you extra EXP compared to normally knocking someone out.
You can get this trophy as early as chapter 11.
Weapon finishers may or may not count for this, it's up in the air.
It's unknown how the game tallies this, though it does not seem to be with every hit.
Either each enemy you hit only counts once toward the trophy, or each weapon you use only counts once when it hits any enemy.
Since you can only really get this near the endgame chapters there will be a bunch of Yakuza roaming around again, so just keep picking fights.
Using it over and over even on the same enemy more than once counts towards the trophy.
Just play the first level and beat it as fast as possible.
You should be able to get it on your first try of the first stage and the first level if you do it in under 20 or 30 seconds.
When you come back he will mention you've been given permission to enter the underground tournament.
Remember that if you have a weapon or item equipped you can not enter tournaments until they are unequipped.
You cannot obtain this trophy until you have started chapter 13.
Once you do, the final two tournaments will unlock.
Make sure you have beaten all the previous tournaments up until the new ones.
Everything prior to the 10th one is completely trivial and you should easily beat them on your first go, most of the enemies are just the same ones you fought either in the story or in the tournament itself.
With the 10th match things start getting hard though, the first enemy should give you no problem, the second enemy's gimmick is that whenever he has an aura you need to grab him.
He'll throw you back and stop being invincible for a good chunk of time.
The third enemy is where the problems begin.
Master Komaki switches between two fighting styles at complete random.
The first style is his drunken boxing-esque kind of fighting.
He cartwheels everywhere and occasionally dashes with his punches.
He's also extremely fast at this.
The second style is the Thai kickboxing style that you've seen before.
He's extremely aggressive with this and doesn't dodge as much so this is the best time to attack him.
The secret to this fight is to just grab him all the time.
Normal attacks are pointless as you can maybe get a single punch in at the very best before you get throttled, and countering is extremely tough as he's completely unpredictable and loves to retaliate at the worst of times with a full combo.
When grabbing nearly all the time you will get thrown away or he'll retaliate, but after the first hit you can sway out of it and try to grab him again.
Once you do manage to grab him immediately spam square and then as he drops to the ground just kick him and try to grab him as he gets up.
Just repeat this until he dies, it's the easiest method by far.
This trophy specifically requires you to have at least two stats at MAX and another at 9, then just keep visiting him until the lessons stop coming.
Remember that if you have a weapon or item equipped he will not teach you until you unequip them.
Your goal is to just keep the heart from hitting the top or bottom by hitting and respectively until you reach the fourth scene with a field of flowers.
The easiest way to explain how to play is that on the horizontal movement you have to overshoot since it swings back into place, and for the vertical movement you have to undershoot so that it lands around the head area.
It takes a while to understand the proper placements, but it's not that difficult.
Since this is a minigame based on timing you are going to have to figure out when to actually hit the ball.
You'll easily get this if you're going for as everything here is mandatory for that.
You will get this if you're aiming forotherwise just run down there and earn 1,000 more than you entered with Including any medals you bought.

Make sure you also do not visit seedy establishments Asia, Love in Heart, Jewel, Shine, or MEB, not sure on BEAM, these are all areas that are pink on the mapevery visit where you agree to leave her outside of these places docks you 10 points and you only have a leeway of 60 points.
You cannot gain back any relationship points that you lost since you just barely pass the 1450 mark play roulette just for fun begin with with everything completed.
The way this works is that when you pass by an area you will sometimes see a speech bubble in pink.
That is Haruka telling you she wants something.
When it's from a store you just enter the store and the only item available will be the one she wants.
If you need to visit an area more than once you need to go to other areas before you come back to it unless it's one of the last things available for you.
It's recommend you save scum when it comes to the casino games since you could lose hundreds and you'd have to earn a bunch of money back to get Haruka's love.
Two people get hands, face cards are 0s, all other cards count up to 9 and then roll over back to 1 if they hit 10, each player draws one card, and whoever has the highest amount at the end wins.
You just bid on whoever will win at the start and hope they win.
First option is to bid on the Player, second is for the Banker, then the next two are the same but ending in a tie.
You get two cards, face cards are 10, aces are 1 or 11, and your goal is to get a 21 through draws while also playing against the dealer.
The general idea is to stand on 16 or higher due to the high chance of a bust.
The menu choices are to stand, hit, double down, and fold.
You can use the Bj piece you get from the Coin Lockers to give you a high chance at a Blackjack.
It will take you about two to three hours in one sitting Meaning you can't leave the slot machine until you get the amount you need.
The first time you get near Volcano she will ask you to get a 777 jackpot, make sure you do not enter Volcano with the 777 item in your inventory on this first request You gain it from getting Haruka's disposition to A.

Without it you could potentially put 300+ medals into the thing without seeing one.

Make sure you spend at least 20 or so minutes doing complete runs even if you mess up so the order gets ingrained into your skull.
The best that can be done is list the speeds and curve balls in order.
Medium balls i would pause twice then hit.
Certain sub stories the girls give you are rendered glitched or unbeatable unless you are in these chapters due to characters following you around Or in chapter 4 and 5's case, because you don't have enough money and one of the girls only gets her sub story unlocked in chapter 6.
If you saved this for chapter 13 to clean up then you are out of luck since Haruka following you breaks everything The girls will refuse to do anything since she's around and enemies won't appear where they should even if you meet the girl where she requested.
Second, make sure you're wearing the Casanova Ring You will get this for free from the "Catch the Pickpocket 2" sub story, it's a gold ring as it gives you a free half heart right at the start of each session with the women.
Finally, you will be asked questions at random in Japanese.
The answers you provide the women will determine if you gain happiness with them or lose some.
