play roulette just for fun Back in 2012 Sega released an HD collection of both Yakuza 1 and 2 for the PS3, but it never reached the west, and they've since moved on to the PS4 so there's no real chance of localization now.
This guide will do its best to give you the resources and knowledge at hand play roulette just for fun 100% the game, understand it, and avoid missing anything as this game makes it extremely easy to miss things without a guide open at all times.
In this roadmap we're going to be going by a chapter by chapter basis as you can easily miss out on things just by moving ahead one or two chapters.
It is very important that you make use of everything in the as the video tutorial and written guide are imperative to you finding everything in a chapter and completing everything with the correct choices.
Stage 2: Chapters 1 Through 3 As you start the game make sure you pick the "NORMAL" difficulty level.
The game itself isn't that hard to begin with so there's absolutely no reason to be picking "EASY".
The first three chapters are straightforward.
There's nothing missable available for you to do at the moment, however, starting with chapter 2 you can work towards beating up 100 Yakuza and buying food from the restaurants to get progress towards thanks all the damage you're taking from enemies.
In chapter 3 you can go after getting 3 kills in one attack since this is the best time to do it.
Stage 3: Chapter 4 Starting with chapter 4 you will now have to worry about missable items and Coin Locker keys.
Please refer to of the guide, specifically under "The Missables" for the exact missions and items you can miss.
If you had exhausted the Yakuza spawns in chapter 2 then random encounters will not happen until chapter 11 onward, the only fights you can get in at this time are from sub stories and the main storyline.
Make sure you visit Love in Heart to get your massages done while you're running around.
It is also advised that you collect every available Coin Locker key you can since you're going to be running around anyway, and to ride around in the taxis.
Please note that if you have gone out of your way and done any of the cabaret missions at this point The ones that require 10 hearts on a hostess to even get that these do not count to the 27 you should have, they get added to the list but they do not count towards the total you need to fight Amon.
This will apply to all future parts.
Stage 4: Chapter 5 This chapter has another two missable sub stories to worry about, though they can be taken care of right off the bat.
Please refer to of the guide for more information.
At the end of this chapter you should have 32 total sub stories finished.
Stage 5: Chapter 6 There is nothing missable in this chapter, but Bantam finally opens up next to Play roulette just for fun Tower where you met Haruka in chapter 4.
You can begin buying the drinks from them to work towardsand if you have enough money you can now attempt gettingbut they're better left until later when you have much more money to throw away.
At the end of this chapter you should have 46 total sub stories finished.
Stage 6: Chapter 7 Here begins the roughest part of the game.
First off there's two halves to this chapter, one before you play the dice game and one after.
The dice game is played when you go to the lady next to the Coin Lockers and pay her, so as long as you don't do that you are still in the first half of the chapter.
There's two missable sub stories before you play the game, and two after, again, please refer to of the guide for more information on the missable missions.
You'll be running around with Haruka from the start and your goal is to get her to the highest rank possible which means playing a bunch of minigames that aren't fun in the slightest and basically doing busy work to make her happy.
In addition to this you should be able to finish buying all the alcohol from every bar if you've been buying all the food and drinks since chapter 2.
If not then it's no big deal and can be done later on.
At the end of this chapter you should have 50 total sub stories finished.
Stage 7: Chapters 8 and 9 Again, we have some very straightforward chapters, just be aware of the one missable sub story right towards the tail end play roulette just for fun chapter 8 before you talk to Date to leave.
Please refer to for more information.
At the end of chapter 8 you should have 51 sub stories completed.
Stage 8: Chapter 10 This chapter will mainly be just completing a bunch of the sub stories that have now appeared.
If you've kept up with everything so far then you should also have enough EXP to put into the Technical tree to get Giant Swing, so make sure to spam that at every encounter until you get its trophy.
We also have another missable Coin Locker key in this chapter, please refer to of the guide for more information.
At the end of this chapter you should have 71 sub stories completed.
Stage 9: Chapter 11 and Cleanup Chapter 11 is where we get a good chunk of the stuff we've been unable to do out of the way due to the funds we'll now have and the freedom we're given.
Your first order of operations is to do the final sub story which requires you to go through the main story to get the soapland pass.
Please refer to of the guide for more information.
During this time you should have all your stats maxed out if you've been doing everything up to this point.
Next we'll be going to Amon to fight him, please refer to for more information on how to go about this.
Once Amon has been defeated you'll gain 10 million Yen, and it's at this point you want to clear out due to this being the last time they work correctly, and also aim for any other accumulative trophies that you haven't gained up until this point, especially if you haven't gained the food ones as this is the best time to actually go out and get them.
This is the last chapter where you will be free to run around without Haruka following you and slowing you down or restricting you from entering certain areas so make use of it.
After you've cleaned up all the other trophies you can finally move on to the soapland, but be aware that there are also three missable Coin Locker keys available in that area as well.
Stage 10: Chapter 12 This is the last chapter with missable items.
There are two Coin Locker keys in the boat play roulette just for fun which wraps up all the ones you can collect, however, please note that until you open up all the lockers you will not get the trophy for the keys themselves.
Please refer to of the guide for more information.
Stage 11: Chapter 13 and Post-Credits We've reached the final chapter.
Your first order of business is to go to the Coin Lockers and finally open all of them up.
After that you need to head towards Purgatory and enter the underground tournaments since the last two matches just opened up in this chapter.
Once this is all finished head towards Millenium Tower and clear the game.
Once the credits have passed by you should have unlocked the "Platinum Box" option on the main menu.
Enter it and select "Battle Review", the first area, and the first stage.
Beat it and then the platinum is yours if you followed this guide the whole way through.
General Advice Make sure you install the game to HDD to drop the load times down to next to nothing.
They're not that long when not installed, but most of the major loads become five to ten second affairs at best, and fighting enemies only takes about two seconds to load.
You can do this by going to "HDD Install" on the main menu and picking the first option.
This will take around 3-4GB.
Knowing the bare minimum of Hiragana and Katakana While not required to beat it knowing English only will make picking some things way less stressful when it comes to buying items and giving items, however the video guide listed can be followed to get exact item placements in your inventory along with all the correct sub story choices provided you don't deviate from doing quests in the exact manner he does.
Have multiple saves, do not play without them.
Starting with chapter 4 you should have a save for that specific chapter, and let your main save just be the automatic ones at chapter ends.
It's extremely easy to mess things up regarding sub story choices even with a guide, and that's doubled when you don't know Japanese or what to look for.
Make sure you save about every 3-4 sub stories and then once you're done with everything in the chapter but before you start a story mission, you don't want to lose out on potentially 4+ hours of work due to moving on with the story or going to a chapter and finding out you missed a sub story or a Coin Locker Key.
Always make a brand new save when a new chapter starts and leave the previous chapter's save as a backup in case you did miss something.
Be very careful when you actually go to do story missions.
For the most part the sub stories can be completed in any chapter, but there are a select few that can only be done in that chapter or span multiple chapters and require you to start it in one and end in the other, you cannot start it in the chapter it's supposed to end on.
Coin Locker keys follow the same rules, you can get most of them throughout the game in any chapter starting from 4, but there are many you can miss and are a one-time-only deal.
Ideally you should get everything done in the chapters they appear in, a lot of sub stories pair off of each other so it's better safe than sorry.
As soon as you reach chapter 4 and onward the story missions should be ignored indefinitely until you collect all Coin Locker keys and finish all the sub stories that were unlocked in that chapter.
Certain story events change the time of day An example is right at the start of chapter 6 you go to rescue a person and the time changes from midday to a rainy evening which will lock you out of certain sub stories until the time changes back.
In chapter 6 make sure you get the handbag quest right at the start and then go start The Scout, the time it takes to get his call either requires a bunch of sub stories to be finished or general time passing, it's not clear which.
The sooner the better as there's a bunch of quests in chapter 6 to do and the time it'll take you to do them is more than enough for it.
If you still don't get the call after about four to six sub stories or two hours of play when you visit the area then go and do the story quests until you finish saving Kage's son.
Once he's saved and it stops raining you should be able to receive the call once you go back to the area you first met the scout in.
Resources Excellent no-commentary playthrough of the game that includes sub stories if you want to follow along with the game in English and will get you all the way to fighting Amon no problem since he does every sub story and main mission.
Please note that he does certain things out of order compared to the PS2 guide regarding sub stories He specifically misses a chapter 4 sub story and only includes it in his chapter 5 video because it's one of the multi-chapter ones which means if you follow the video walkthrough exactly you will miss a sub story, and he leaves one sub story you can do in chapter 7 until later on, however that one is not a missable oneso make sure you triple check you did the missables before continuing on with a chapter.
He also does not collect any Coin Locker keys outside of the required one for Komaki's training and the few needed for sub stories so you will have to be diligent and keep up with them yourself.
The most important written guide for play roulette just for fun game.
Have at least three or maybe even four tabs of it open One for the chapter you're in to get your overview of missable things and Coin Locker keys, one for the stat bonuses, one for the Coin Locker Key list, and one for the sub stories themselves A somewhat complete trophy guide, but most of the important things are left to the PS2 guide.
The map of Yakuza 1's Kamuro, this is the best quality that can be found if you want actual street names which the PS2 guide uses a lot.
There is also a map provided with store names in the section if needed.
Alternative site for Coin Locker key locations, and it has some visual aid which helps with some of the more vague listings the English guide has.
You can easily use Google Translate to make sense of where some of them are located if the PS2 guide is not clear enough.
These is a list of the sub stories how they appear in the Japanese version.
If you don't know Japanese do not Google Translate the descriptions as they are basically gibberish with it, however it's extremely useful in keeping a tally of how many sub stories you've cleared and how many are left, along with the exact ones you've done if you're unsure before clearing a chapter.
The magenta highlighted button near the center are what chapters it entails, the greyish-black is the title of the mission, and the giant blue play roulette just for fun separate the chapters themselves.
One thing to mention is that if you see a colon at the end of a sub story name then that's just listing the time of day the thing is available, it's not part of the actual title so that's nothing to worry about.
The one we're specifically looking for is at the bottom of the page, and the section you're looking for is circled in the picture.
Please refer to for names and more information.
When you click on one of the names you'll need to scroll down to the bottom of the page, the final section you see there is the one where the answers are, the stuff above it is just detailing presents and what they want to eat or drink.
The Missables As mentioned before, there are many things you can miss if you make the wrong choices in a sub story or go too far ahead in the main story.
Nearly all sub stories can be failed by making the wrong choice, however, the PS2 guide covers the correct options to choose so there should be no problem with that, and so does the video guide.
I'm not going to go into detail as to how to do the quests as those are already done in the two guides provided, I will simply provide where to actually go for the missable items and stories in what chapter, the ones I'm specifically going to list are the ones tied to specific chapters and the one that lets you access the underground casino.
The same applies to Coin Locker keys.
Make sure these have been done before you progress or they will be lost permanently.
Special mention: The Price of an F-Cup Even though the story itself is not missable, making any wrong choice in it will completely lock you out of the underground casino which also means you can't getyou can't finish the sub quests, and you can't get the gambling trophies.
Make very certain you help the woman out, accept her invitation for a drink, refuse to drink the actual drink three times, and refuse to take the money at the end.
You must start this quest right before you enter Purgatory by talking to the kid outside the bathroom and giving him any type of food at all.
Simply walk in, go to the chip counter at the far end, try to leave, and this story will start.
This is the best time to earn.
Make sure you have food again and go to the park directly east of Stardust and talk to the kid again.
Do not leave with him and you'll get a phone call from Kage.
Go visit Kage and he'll tell you about Doujima's wife being around.
Then just leave Purgatory and follow the green arrow.
You must complete this before you leave with Date or it's missable.
He'll tell you to go to pAres which will start this story.
Cabaret - If you are on any chapter that has Haruka or another character following you and they are currently following you you will be locked out of these even if you go meet the character.
The enemies that need to spawn won't, the transitions that need to happen don't, and while some of the parts of the quest may be completed, you cannot actually complete them fully.
Do not leave these until chapter 13, make sure you do them either in chapter 6 or chapter 11.
Please note that while Dine and Dash can be "failed" by letting the man get away Which is easy to have happen as it's on a very short timeras long as you talk to the restaraunt owner outside it will be considered completed even though you didn't get a reward of any kind.
This is the only time the NPC will ever be here.
The only time you get access to these keys again is in the final chapter, but you cannot take those out to open the lockers so it is missable.
Make sure you find it before you go up the flight of stairs or you miss this one.
As long as you don't enter the room on the fourth floor you can go search for these.
Make sure you do not go to the right of the stairs when you get onto the boat or you miss these.
His fighting style is extremely simple, every full combo you do he'll either try to heabutt you or attack you which you can easily just sway away from.
He's invincible when charging his attack the sky-blue aura around him.
He comes with about five or six flunkies, however the area around you is filled with chairs and getting Heat attacks off these guys is extremely easy.
The boss himself is an agile type who blocks sometimes, so you can go for a full kick combo or just punch him a few times and back off.
He's quite tough, he comes with a bunch of flunkies, and the arena itself has baseballs constantly being thrown at you.
Do your best to beat the flunkies first, then once the boss is the only one left try to make a break for the bats on the entrance side of the arena Where the balls are being thrown to.
The boss himself can only be hit about once or twice before he backs off and starts a combo of his own.
He will constantly be dodging you at every opportunity, but when he goes for his six-combo attack The one that ends in a punch you can retaliate against him.
His knife stabs aren't that easily punished but it's also possible on those.
There will be a bunch of lackies with wooden swords and then the boss with a proper sword.
Hopefully you got Master Komaki's sword training prior to this to increase the damage of swords, but either way you should just focus on the lackies, then grab their swords and use that to fight off the rest of them and the boss.
The boss himself is slightly agile and likes to sway after about two or three hits, but the swords themselves can stun him for multiple hits and deal a substantial amount of damage.
If you run out of swords to use then your best bet is to do a basic two or three punch combo before backing off.
Most of his attacks can be retaliated against.
You fight them in the middle of chapter 8 as you go to Debora for some information.
Just work on getting the flunkies down first and do your best to avoid the big guy.
Instead, you should focus on the agile one due to him being an absolute pain and he will constantly interrupt any attacks on the big guy.
You can get full combos on the agile one on occasion, but grabs don't work.
There's a bunch of seats in the back you can use to do a good amount of damage to both these guys.
Then just go attack the big guy, he can be both grabbed and knocked to the ground making him really simple to beat with Heat attacks.
He is extremely quick, uses weapons constantly, has attacks that have huge range, and sways like crazy.
The pots scattered about the room have swords hidden in them so make good use of those as he can't really dodge them, and there's also two health kit items in the room which you'll probably need since he really hits hard.
Don't attempt Heat attacks, grabbing him is extremely tough, since he attacks very quick trying to using the tables or pots to do a Heat attack is very difficult to actually have succeed, and knocking him down takes considerable effort or a full sword combo.
If you run out of weapons to use then you can retaliate against any of his attacks once he finishes a combo, just make sure you stay a good distance away until he sees the combos the whole way through due to the range.
If you have the Bulletproof Vest from the Coin Locker Keys then this should help out immensely in this entire area and fight due to the prevalent use of guns.
The Neo wannabe here is really annoying, and his minions do not help in the slightest.
Book it to any of the other Yakuza first, they are your top priority as they also have guns and you immediately get stunned if hit by anything in this fight which lets everyone else shoot you.
To make matters worse there's only one health pickup as well.
The boss himself has three moves.
He twirls to do a single shot Which is the best move to punish himhe dives to shoot at you Sway to the right or left immediately if he does this, you can't hit him until he gets back upor he does his special and he'll fire at you nonstop.
The pans are uselss here as they slow you down and make it harder to actually reach the guy.
He's also an agile-type enemy, so expect to barely hit him once or twice at best when you even get an opportunity.
In comparison to the previous time you fought him he will sway much more which makes getting attacks in a much bigger pain.
You can only really retaliate against the jump attack If you attack as soon as he stabs or at the end of his six attack combo The one that ends in an explosive punch.
It's not recommend to use the pipes or rocks laying around during the fight, your swings are too slow to actually get a hit off unless you literally back him into a corner so he can't just sway out of every attack due to the invincibility frames of his sways.
Half way through the fight you will fall through the floor into a much darker arena, so make sure you pay extra attention to his attacks as his six attack combo is much harder to see, the jump stab will still have the purple glow.
The only difference between the original fight and this one is that the boss himself now blocks a bit more often, he comes with five flunkies You also have four or five guys to help you out in this fight but they only really distract a single enemyand the boss will attempt to grab you which throws you into a QTE to escape a car running you over.
He is still just as easy as before and you can get two full combos in at times, he doesn't retalite often and will more often than not just attempt to grab at you.
You can be dishonorable and just take out one of the katanas or guns you grabbed during the level leading up to him, or you can just fist fight him like you're expected to.
He's hilariously easy, never dodges, constantly blocks so his guard can be broken and you get a free combo, and every 30% of his health that he loses you will shift to a different part of the map.
There's chairs and health items around if you're having trouble or need to heal after the rooftop fights.
This will pop up after you see the giant "The end" in the credits.
Be very careful if you die two or three times and retry, it will ask you if you want to switch to EASY mode.
After this you can find him standing in the theater square in his black trenchcoat and black sunglasses.
Please refer to the "" section of this guide and the provided links to have the correct choices and chapter availability for the sub stories.
Pretty much everything is missable and everything can be ruined, so be very careful with how you progress through the game.
One of them is a fire type and another is an electric type, either one will work for the fight.
Then simply just go into the fight, run up to him and start slashing, and whenever you can do a Heat attack you do it.
If you don't want to cheese the fight like this it's the toughest fight in the game, just take a bunch of Stamina Royale's, wear Haruka's Necklace, and go in with bladed weapons of some kind.
You can get one or two hits in at best using this method, and his third phase will require you to be good at countering.
You also must be good at swaying since it's the only thing that will even let you hit him once.
Regardless of the method he has three phases, the first two have two bars of health, the last one has three but is the easiest of the lot despite being the quickest.
The area he's in has a golf club and a metal pipe, but both of them are very slow and you probably won't even hit Amon with them.
The first phase is the gunner phase.
This is the same as theexcept he dodges next to every attack, he's extremely quick, and he will do everything to get as far away from you as possible.
If you get hit at all he will begin to run away, so sway your way towards him.
If he's really far away, he'll glow blue which means you need to rush to some sort of cover as swaying will not dodge it like with the other enemies like this.
When you get too close he'll begin his melee attack to get enough space to run away.
The second phase is the grenade phase.
Everything he will do does disgustingly high amounts of damage.
If you're close he'll choose between a stun grenade, a frag grenade, or a melee moveset mainly aimed towards kicks.
If you let him run far enough he'll throw about six grenades in a very wide area, and cover will not protect you at this point, so do your best to stay near him.
This is the best time to stay close with weapons if you're not cheesing him with the elemental katanas.
The final phase is the phase.
He doesn't sway as much as Majima does but if he's not within punching range he'll take out his knife and usually leap at you.
He's very easy to retaliate against in this phase, especially if you're close to him and go for counters.
Beating him also nets you 10 million Yen.
Whenever you buy an item from any restaraunt it will gain a red checkmark the next time you view the menu, so this makes it easy to manage what you actually purchased.
The beef bowl stores on Taihei Boulevard both count as the same menu so you just need to buy from one or the other.
It appears that you don't need to order all the drinks from the bars, buying everything from pAres The blue store at the bottom of the Champion District and Bantam The white square right next to the Millenium Tower along with the most expensive drink at Shellac The blue square on the right of the Champion Distruct should give you the trophy, but if it doesn't just continue to buy out everything from Shellac.
The bar called "Bantam" replaces the "Bacchus" bar where you first met Haruka in chapter 4, but it takes until chapter 5 or 6 before you can actually visit it.
Food can only be bought if you have lost some health, so you either have to do this early on in the game, or right at the end of the game.
Yakuza have a cap on how many times they will spawn to fight you prior to chapter 11, but after that they will spawn infinitely, so if you would like to just tank hits early on to get this over quicker that is possible.
Drinks can be bought regardless of health condition so a decent amount of the things in the Alps Tea House and the Good Cafe can be purchased outright.
It is recommended to buy the cheapest items first, and right before you heal fully you buy the most expensive food to limit the amount of trips you need to make to the store.
Alcoholic drinks from bars also have a limit on how many you can drink.
You have four "stages" of being drunk, the first is blueish-purple, the second is yellow, the third is red, and then there's flashing red Which makes the barkeep stop serving you until you sober up.
The more expensive the drink the higher your rating, and it slowly whittles away as you're playing in realtime.
It takes about 10-20 minutes to drop a single level, so it's best to buy the really cheap drinks and then go all out for the expensive ones.
You can drink about four or five cheap drinks, or one to three expensive drinks in a sitting so it is recommended you leave the really expensive drinks for last when you are drinking So, drink 3 or 4 cheap drinks and then the really expensive one as they get you hammered the most.
The drunkenness level resets on major cutscenes and chapter changes or if enough realtime has passed.
The rest of the drinks at the other bars top out at about 7k, while the most expensive food is about the 4k mark.
A "bump" is when you see someone turn to their side when you touch them.
Throughout most of the game you'll earn about 2-3 million if you've just been hoarding your money with all the sub stories.
However, if you did all the sub stories, maxed out all your stats, and learned from Master Komaki then you'll get to fight Amon in the theater square right near the end of the game, and beating him nets you 10 million Yen.
If you're not planning on fighting Amon or want this early, then your option is to play roulette in the underground casino and sell the golden plates you get with the chips you earn.
Keep in mind the latter method is extremely luck reliant and will require much save scumming for it to work.
This may or may not be gained through normal gameplay depending if you utilize the taxis or not.
Just follow the on-screen prompts until the fight is over.
Just go encounter random Yakuza and do sub stories and you can get this as early as chapter 2 if you wanted, otherwise it will come through natural gameplay.
Ideally you should aim for this in chapter 3 as you're running from the funeral.
The area you begin in as you start to run away has loads of columns and enemies are carrying them as well along with 3+ people grouping up constantly.
The way you have to go about this is by using your normal punch against enemies until their health drops to a sliver left.
This can be very tough to do, especially with everyone else hitting you, but do your best.
After that, you need to go grab a column, either from the background or the one the enemies carried in.
Run in wide circles and hope for the enemies to group together, and once the three you've dropped to a sliver of health are grouped together, press triangle and hope for the best.
The range on these attacks is extremely short and you also have to hope no one attacks as you do the triangle attack on the enemies.
If you beat too many enemies in this area then just let the remaining ones kill you and try again, there is no penalty for dying.
If you are past chapter 3 this will have to be done either when you first meet Haruka in chapter 4 You get ambushed by about eight Yakuzain random Yakuza battles They all come with some sort of giant item to pick up and usually 3+ enemies in an encounter or certain sub stories as they tend to have groups of enemies.
Either attempt this directly at the start and just save after every fight you beat without getting hit, or do this after chapter 11 since Yakuza will start respawning on the streets again.
Another method is at the end of the game after you beat Amon due to the amount of money you get.
After beating him you just go to the black market gun store in BEAM on North Pink Street, it's the pink store opposite of Bantam.
To access the black market will require you to talk to a bum a little bit past the eastern most beef bowl restaraunt near a car then agree to pay him around 30k Yen.
Whenever you are grabbed by an enemy you have to spam X to escape, just do this 15 times and you're good.
If you still don't have it by the end of the game then just turn your back towards an enemy without attacking and if you're close enough they will always grab you instead of hitting you.
It's unknown if Heat attacks that break items count toward the tally or if it counts towards when you do it on the final enemy of a battle, or if you just have to break them through regular attacks.
It's also unknown if items like grenades, baseballs, guns, or anything thrown count toward the tally either.
When looking at the English trophies for the latter games this may be tied to destroying items you pick up in battles, not ones you take in with you.
The best way to get EXP is to do sub stories as the enemies give you tons of EXP, especially early on, and once you get to chapter 8 the bosses from the story give you 10+.
Using a Heat attack on bosses gives you a good chunk of EXP as well.
Ideally you should aim to use Heat attacks on any enemy if possible as it gives you extra EXP compared to normally knocking someone out.
You can get this trophy as early as chapter 11.
Weapon finishers may or may not count for this, it's up in the air.
It's unknown how the game tallies this, though it does not seem to be with every hit.
Either each enemy you hit only counts once toward the trophy, or each weapon you use only counts once when it hits any enemy.
Since you can only really get this near the endgame chapters there will be a bunch of Yakuza roaming around again, so just keep picking fights.
Using it over and over even on the same enemy more than once counts towards the trophy.
Just play the first level and beat it as fast as possible.
You should be able to get it on your first try of the first stage and the first level if you do it in under 20 or 30 seconds.
When you come back he will mention you've been given permission to enter the underground tournament.
Remember that if you have a weapon or item equipped you can not enter tournaments until they are unequipped.
You cannot obtain this trophy until you have started chapter 13.
Once you do, the final two tournaments will unlock.
Make sure you have beaten all the previous tournaments up until the new ones.
Everything prior to the 10th one is completely trivial and you should easily beat them on your first go, most of the enemies are just the same ones you fought either in the story or in the tournament itself.
With the 10th match things start getting hard though, the first enemy should give you no problem, the second enemy's gimmick is that whenever he has an aura you need to grab him.
He'll throw you back and stop being invincible for a good chunk of time.
The third enemy is where the problems begin.
Master Komaki switches between two fighting styles at complete random.
The first style is his drunken boxing-esque kind of fighting.
He cartwheels everywhere and occasionally dashes with his punches.
He's also extremely fast at this.
The second style is the Thai kickboxing style that you've seen before.
He's extremely aggressive with this and doesn't dodge as much so this is the best time to attack him.
The secret to this fight is to just grab him all the time.
Normal attacks are pointless as you can maybe get a single punch in at the very best before you get throttled, and countering is extremely tough as he's completely unpredictable and loves to retaliate at the worst of times with a full combo.
When grabbing nearly all the time you will get thrown away or he'll retaliate, but after the first hit you can sway out of it and try to grab him again.
Once you do manage to grab him immediately spam square and then as he drops to the ground just kick him and try to grab him as he gets up.
Just repeat this until he dies, it's the easiest method by far.
This trophy specifically requires you to have at least two stats at MAX and another at 9, then just keep visiting him until the lessons stop coming.
Remember that if you have a weapon or item equipped he will not teach you until you unequip them.
Your goal is to just keep the heart from hitting the top or bottom by hitting and respectively until you reach the fourth scene with a field of flowers.
The easiest way to explain how to play is that on the horizontal movement you have to overshoot since it swings back into place, and for the vertical movement you have to undershoot so that it lands around the head area.
It takes a while to understand the proper placements, but it's not that difficult.
Since this is a minigame based on timing you are going to have to figure out when to actually hit the ball.
You'll easily get this if you're going for as everything here is mandatory for that.
You will get this if you're aiming forotherwise just run down there and earn 1,000 more than you entered with Including any medals you bought.
It's just a simple slot machine so press, for a couple hours.
It's the easiest to do with Roulette, just use a Red or Black gem gained from the Coin Lockers, bet about 90k 9,999 on single numbers of that color gem you picked, and if it lands on one of the 15 or so numbers you won you'll earn about 200k chips total.
This is the method used for the sub story, and since gems are rare it's recommended you do it during that sub story.
Starting from chapter 7, once you get access to your house in Purgatory you will be able to run around with Haruka to raise her spirits after the events that happened previously.
Do not run too far away from Haruka at any moment.
You can run normally and she'll shout at you about "going too fast" or "not to leave her behind", but if she ever gets caught on anything at all stop dead in your tracks and go back to her or she will run at you and dock you happiness if you get too far.
Make sure you also do not visit seedy establishments Asia, Love in Heart, Jewel, Shine, or MEB, not sure on BEAM, these are all areas that are pink on the mapevery visit where you agree to leave her outside of these places docks you 10 points and you only have a leeway of 60 points.
You cannot gain back any relationship points that you lost since you just barely pass the 1450 mark play roulette just for fun begin with with everything completed.
The way this works is that when you pass by an area you will sometimes see a speech bubble in pink.
That is Haruka telling you she wants something.
When it's from a store you just enter the store and the only item available will be the one she wants.
If you need to visit an area more than once you need to go to other areas before you come back to it unless it's one of the last things available for you.
It's recommend you save scum when it comes to the casino games since you could lose hundreds and you'd have to earn a bunch of money back to get Haruka's love.
Two people get hands, face cards are 0s, all other cards count up to 9 and then roll over back to 1 if they hit 10, each player draws one card, and whoever has the highest amount at the end wins.
You just bid on whoever will win at the start and hope they win.
First option is to bid on the Player, second is for the Banker, then the next two are the same but ending in a tie.
You get two cards, face cards are 10, aces are 1 or 11, and your goal is to get a 21 through draws while also playing against the dealer.
The general idea is to stand on 16 or higher due to the high chance of a bust.
The menu choices are to stand, hit, double down, and fold.
You can use the Bj piece you get from the Coin Lockers to give you a high chance at a Blackjack.
It will take you about two to three hours in one sitting Meaning you can't leave the slot machine until you get the amount you need.
The first time you get near Volcano she will ask you to get a 777 jackpot, make sure you do not enter Volcano with the 777 item in your inventory on this first request You gain it from getting Haruka's disposition to A.
On her second request when you get near it she will ask you for 3000 medals, it's this mission where you should go and take your 777 item out of storage and walk into Volcano.
Haruka will say something as you enter and it will be used, if you leave for any reason at all after this the item will be gone and so will the buff so do not leave Volcano until you get the full 3000 medals she wants.
This means you cannot leave the slot machine you picked at all until you get 3000 more than what you entered the machine with So if you entered the machine with 250 you'd need to earn a total of 3250 or more, the same applies if you start with 0 and need to purchase some medals to play, you need to get 3000 more than what you put into the machine in the end.
Whatever you do do not attempt this without the 777 item, you will dump in hours for little to no gain over what you start with and highly rigged chances against you.
With the 777 item you're looking at a jackpot around every 30-50 spins and it has some sort of guarantee system in place so you get one if you put about 100 or so medals into the machine.
Without it you could potentially put 300+ medals into the thing without seeing one.
You cannot pause buffer any of the slots to try and get yourself 777, it's already predetermined once you put the money in and start the spin You can test this by pause buffering just before a 7, it'll just skip completely past it one or two icons even though it was the next one up and you pressed it immediately after you exit a pause so just keep pressing, over and over until you finally get it hours later.
This took about four hours straight of attempts, and everything is designed to distract you from Haruka jumping, Haruka's deformed waving hands, the camera panning over to the baseball you hit before snapping back, Kiryu having the baseball bat clip through his hands, the Home Run sound at 10 successful ones, and the soul crushing "thunk" when you miss a slow ball.
The tough thing here is to get 20 Home Runs in a single game of the Major League course at the batting cages.
This is the batting cage next to the one that's on the far-right The last one is broken I believe.
The baseballs themselves have three speeds, and curve balls on the medium and slow balls add a slight delay to when you need to hit them.
There is no way to explain exactly when to hit these things and the timing is all up to you to learn, with the first ball and the two final slow curve balls being the worst of the lot.
Make sure you spend at least 20 or so minutes doing complete runs even if you mess up so the order gets ingrained into your skull.
The best that can be done is list the speeds and curve balls in order.
Medium balls i would pause twice then hit.
Certain sub stories the girls give you are rendered glitched or unbeatable unless you are in these chapters due to characters following you around Or in chapter 4 and 5's case, because you don't have enough money and one of the girls only gets her sub story unlocked in chapter 6.
If you saved this for chapter 13 to clean up then you are out of luck since Haruka following you breaks everything The girls will refuse to do anything since she's around and enemies won't appear where they should even if you meet the girl where she requested.
Second, make sure you're wearing the Casanova Ring You will get this for free from the "Catch the Pickpocket 2" sub story, it's a gold ring as it gives you a free half heart right at the start of each session with the women.
Finally, you will be asked questions at random in Japanese.
The answers you provide the women will determine if you gain happiness with them or lose some.
If you don't know Japanese don't fret, there is a solution for you.
Please refer to the section as it has a guide specifically for the Cabaret questions, and if you need to know the girl's names they're all at the bottom of this trophy's guide.
You need to go visit MEB It's right next to Jewel at the top, it's the far-left pink one and talk to the guy right at the entrance.
Pick the first option, go through the first three options, then pick the last option.
Talk to him again, pick the second option, then go through the first three options and then the last one.
The goal узнать больше здесь this trophy is to get 10 hearts for each girl and do a small mission for them once you do.
Your only exception is Hiromi since you get nothing from her so just pick the free option every time.
Reika will only give you half a heart when you choose this option so please remember that.
If you do then choose the first option, then the present, and give it to her for a heart and a half.
If not then choose the second option No penalty to you.
Most of the names are in Katakana so if you know that it should be easy to pick the items out, but if you don't then don't risk it, giving the girl the wrong item docks you half a heart or more.
After this you'll get the tab, you're looking at about 130,000 a visit and around four to five hearts a visit.
Hiromi will be the hardest one out of the lot to please, but she's also the cheapest due to not needing to buy the drinks.
Make sure you only get one girl to 10 hearts at a time since the quests are already glitchy to begin with, and remember that Hiromi's quest is timed once you get the message, so if you miss her encounter you cannot get this at all.
Please refer to the provided on how to do them.
The trophy will pop once you get the tab.
