Everything was excellent, from the lobster bisque, to the Heluka Pork Tenderloin, to the Baileys Chocolate Mousse.
We had a wonderful evening.
Waitress was rude and asked, if the food wasn't good enough for us.
Then while writing on the comment card asked if we were writing a book?
It was a set menu of three main courses and they ran out of sirloin at 7 pm.
Apple crisp was not prepared well and apple slices were like chewing on rubber.
I would not recommend this place to anyone, especially for 165 dollars for two people.
Two things tasted good, the bread and the water, even though the water was warm.
It was a limited menu but wonderful for New Years Eve.
The waitress was fun and seemed to love being there also.
It was a great experience.
Our serer Amy was wonderful.
We really enjoyed having her for a server.
Wish there was a grilled chicken option on the menu.
Our meal was absolutely amazing!!
The service was great and the atmosphere was perfect for conversation during our meal.
Afterward dinner we went to the bar for a drink.
The bartender was very knowledgeable and friendly.
Overall, it was a wonderful visit!!
The food is very good, but very expensive.
Everything is a la carte.
The service was average.
We went for our anniversary and this is the type casino red vegas restaurant to go to for a special occasion.
Not impressed with the quality of the New York strip steak.
The steak was tough and it was overly marinated.
If you want a good steak, go to a steak house or my house - sorry.
My red wing mn casino buffet and I celebrated our wedding anniversary there and it was our first time visiting.
What a wonderful experience it was and will highly recommend it to my family and friends.!!!
We have been to the Port many times to celebrate our anniversary.
My husband's steak was cooked beautifully but the tapenade was so overpowering he scraped it off.
My halibut was also cooked perfectly but I removed it from the sauce for the same reason.
The sauce did not compliment the fish, it overpowered it.
We will not plan on returning to the Port unless changes are made to the menu.
The ambience we love.
Could have used more information about the menu.
We had a all meat meal.
We realize we maybe had to order our sides separately to come along with the meal?!?
While the food was very good, the selection was limited.
We dined here one year earlier and the menu choices seemed more appealing.
We love the hotel and http://casinoslotsjackpot.life/red/roulette-black-and-red-numbers.html restaurant but would like to see a few more food options and more variety.
One other thing, the beet salad was excellent but hardly had any beets in it.
We chose the Port for an early dinner before a concert at Treasure Island casino.
Food and service were outstanding.
Will add this to our list of special places.
We requested a quiet corner table for romantic evening.
We booked well in advance and when we arrive were placed right next to another couple who had just started dining as well.
Don't bother asking for request, they will not honor them.
The food and service were good.
I brought a corporate group to the Port for red wing mn casino buffet first time and it couldn't have gone better!
I have personally been there several times but never as the corporate planner.
Their service was great and the food and wine were superb.
The bartender was especially gracious and entertaining We will be back!
Very interesting old hotel and restaurant, well preserved and historic.
Waiter was very good and personable.
Wine service was poor.
I asked for a Sancerre or Sauvignon Blanc, they offered me 2009 and 2010 vintages which I was not willing to accept it's 2016!
Finally he came back with a 2013 Kim Crawford which was drinkable.
Dinner was their dry aged steak which the waiter highly recommended.
fire red slot payout was perfectly cooked but extremely tough.
There was a bright spot and that was the homemade ice creams, they were delicious.
The food and service were great, but the environment felt very stuffy, I think due to the very soft classical music playing.
I've heard since that they have live music a couple nights a week, so maybe that would be an improvement.
Excellent cuisine; delectable flavours, well prepared, excellent presentation, attentive, timely service.
Good special occasion place.
Chef puts effort into interesting fair.
I have to say that I felt that our server completely lost interest when we told her that we don't drink alcohol.
Her face fell in as she snatched our wine glasses from the table.
After that, it was taking too long to order and needing too ссылка на страницу help with the menu.
Needing to refill our iced teas was an obvious chore.
If our service had been as good as the food, particularly my husband's excellent beef tenderloin, it would have been a better experience.
I hate it when I'm made to feel as if I'm taking up the server's time.
Dismissive and tolerated are the words which best describe her attitude towards us.
Too bad that is my take away from our anniversary dinner.
I would still recommend the spot, particularly if you like wine.
If you don't, having a thick skin helps.
A fine dining establishment.
With a fresh, new menu and the consistently great service from our server, Rita, it's always a pleasure to dine at the Port, as we've enjoyed twice yearly since the Hotel's amazing Victorian Dining Red wing mn casino buffet closed to general dining many years ago.
The Helluka pork chop was excellent and the salmon dish was very good, too.
We'd also recommend the simple, though fresh and flavorful Spring Greems Composition salad.
We'll be back to Red Wing for the Fall colors and the Port's flavors.
Overall the food was really good, a little small on the portions but with a 3 course meal you are full.
The server at the table was not great but adequate.
We stayed for a while after dinner and sat at the bar, the bartender was amazing to watch and talk to.
She pegged my flavors right away and made some awesome drinks.
For a special birthday falling a day before Valentine's Day, the Port was a 'no brainer' and it did not disappoint.
The food was excellent and the atmosphere perfect.
Service as always, was attentive without being intrusive.
Such a special place.
This was our first time dining at The Port.
The food was fabulous, the service was excellent and we will absolutely be returning!
We had a cozy table by the fireplace.
It was December 31st, a busy night, and a special menu.
The staff practically jumped at the opportunity to be kind, thoughtful, and to my girlfriend's dietary needs.
She's a vegetarian, and gets migraines, and her trigger foods include cheese right?!
The staff assured us ahead of time, and red wing mn casino buffet waitress understood and repeated there would be no problem.
The kitchen crew created a delicious entree that met her needs AND was delicious.
They said they'd throw something together from what they had in the kitchen.
I had the lamb shank and it was tremendous.
My boyfriend and I recently ate at the Port during our stay at the St.
The menu was diverse and the cocktails were very intriguing and delicious.
We both enjoyed our meals, and the service was very accommodating.
I would definitely go back.
My Marine son and his girlfriend went to dinner at The Port - my son in his Dress Blues and his girlfriend in a beautiful dress.
After ordering their food the waitress told them that a couple a few tables away paid for their entire meal.
The lady came over, gave my son a hug and thanked him for his service.
I do not know who the couple was, but wish I did so that I could thank them for their kindness.
My son and his girlfriend had a wonderful time and really enjoyed their dining experience at The Port.
Perfect place for a romantic evening.
My only disappointment was the small wine list.
Would certainly go again.
Our Server was very good, the ambiance is very relaxing, and an extensive wine selection is available.
We found the meal quality and quantity was not a good value for price paid however.
Highly unlikely we will return.
Our second visit to the Port.
The food is delicious although limited offerings.
Meat was cookedor under cooked, as wished and was best without the sauce served with it for us.
Over say food is very tasty.
The only glitch was red wing mn casino buffet next to the fireplace that was being usedin July!
Was a bit warm and kept scooting our chairs away from it.
Did find a comfortable spot.
This is not the first time, nor will it be the last time that I eat at the Port.
This red wing mn casino buffet an amazing restaurant that never fails me or those that I may be dining with.
Can't wait to go back!!
